in good pre-loved condition

while this chain necklace has gold plating, the plating is a lesson in impermanence. it will eventually wear away revealing the sterling silver beneath. there are already some areas with color variations, though it's hard to know if its from wear. in the center panel the left side appears more brassy, likely from patina, and the area toward the bottom. of the settings is silver in color — this is either from the white gold plating on the pave style settings bleeding onto the panel, or its from the gold plating having worn away in this area
